Funding Success and Valuation

Based in Palo Alto, Glow announced on Wednesday that it raised $180 million in an all-equity Series A funding round, valuing the company at an impressive $1.2 billion. The funding round saw contributions from notable investors, including Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, and Redpoint Ventures, along with participation from Index Ventures, Swish Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective, and Holly Ventures. This marks Glow as one of the latest startups in the cybersecurity realm to reach unicorn status before publicly revealing revenue metrics.

The Shift in Endpoint Security

As enterprises increasingly adopt AI tools, cybercriminals are utilizing generative AI to automate phishing, develop malware, and execute sophisticated attacks. Consequently, organizations are reassessing how they secure endpoints like laptops, servers, and other connected devices. These concerns have amplified following the introduction of Anthropic’s Mythos AI model, which showcased advanced capabilities in identifying and exploiting software vulnerabilities, leading to heightened discussions around AI-enabled cyberattacks. Glow is positioning itself to meet this challenge with a novel approach to endpoint security.

Innovative Platform Development

Founded in 2025, Glow is developing an endpoint security platform designed to help enterprises monitor and control software, AI agents, and developer tools on employee devices. The platform utilizes specialized AI agents that continuously map enterprise environments, assess risks in real time, and enforce security measures.

“If you think about the past decade, everything was shifting to the cloud and SaaS. Suddenly, AI is reaching the endpoint in a way we’ve never experienced before,” stated co-founder and CEO Roi Tiger in an interview.

Experienced Leadership Team

Roi Tiger, who previously served as vice president of engineering at Meta, co-founded Glow with Omer Singer, former head of cybersecurity strategy at Snowflake, Ophir Arie, ex-vice president of research and development at Claroty, and Arnon Joseph, a former engineering leader at Meta. They are joined by Chief Operating Officer Emily Heath, a seasoned cybersecurity professional with experience as a CISO at major companies like United Airlines and DocuSign.

Customer Adoption and Use Cases

Despite only recently coming out of stealth mode, Glow has secured paying customers across various sectors, including healthcare, retail, and financial services. Although specific customer names and numbers have not been disclosed, Tiger mentioned that typical deployments involve tens of thousands of employee devices within global organizations.

Technological Backbone

To enhance its platform, Glow leverages AI models from Anthropic and Google’s Gemini via Amazon Bedrock, while also developing its own software to provide context and improve model reliability for security tasks. “Our platform has already managed to prevent malicious npm packages from being installed, identified AI agents trying to introduce such software, and pinpointed employee devices lacking necessary endpoint detection and response tools,” Tiger explained.

Entering a Competitive Market

Glow enters a competitive endpoint security landscape, contending with established players such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks. Tiger emphasized that while existing detection and response products often focus on identifying threats post-emergence, Glow’s solution aims to proactively prevent risky software and AI agents from infiltrating enterprise environments.

Future Outlook

With a workforce of nearly 100, approximately 70% of whom are based in Israel and the remainder in the U.S., Glow is poised for growth. As enterprises begin to navigate the complexities of AI’s security implications, the question of whether AI-native endpoint security platforms will carve out a distinct category in the cybersecurity landscape remains open. Glow’s innovative approach may well redefine how organizations tackle endpoint security challenges in the AI era.
