Among the standout features of the Pixel 11 Pro and Pro XL is ‘HiLight’, an innovative array of LED lights built into the camera’s flash module. This feature allows customizable color glows to alert users about calls from favorite contacts, even when the device is face down. The lights will also pulse when the phone’s AI, Gemini, is active.
In addition, users can expect significant upgrades in the camera and chipset, along with brighter screens reaching up to 3,600 nits. Interestingly, while the phones have a starting RAM of 12GB, users can opt for 16GB, albeit at an additional cost.
2. Camera Improvements: Magic Capture Mode

The camera technology has also seen numerous enhancements. The Pixel 11’s main camera features a larger sensor, increasing light sensitivity by 56%. The Pro models offer new sensors and a digital zoom capability of up to 120x, surpassing the previous generation’s 100x limit. Additionally, the newly introduced Magic Capture mode allows users to capture both video and multiple images from a single click, automating cropping and unblurring.
3. Enhanced Performance with Tensor G6 Chipset

The introduction of the Tensor G6 chipset marks a significant upgrade. It boasts 20% better power efficiency, 25% faster browsing, and 15% quicker app loading. These enhancements are set to improve responsiveness over a wide range of tasks, making the Pixel 11 series feel more fluid compared to its predecessors.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is not only brighter with a peak brightness of 3,600 nits, up from 3,000 nits in its predecessor, but it’s also thinner and lighter. When folded, its height is 10.1mm and only 5.0mm when opened, making it a compact option for those who enjoy foldable devices.
5. Storage Upgrades for Pixel 11

The Pixel 11 also benefits from the Tensor G6 chipset and camera enhancements. In addition, it now starts with 256GB of storage, a step up from the previous model’s 128GB base option. However, this increase in storage comes with a higher starting price, eliminating the budget-friendly model of last year.
