According to WinFuture, a number of images showcasing the Galaxy SmartTag 3 have emerged, effectively eliminating any uncertainty regarding its design. The device will be available in both black and white colors, offering users some stylistic choice.
A notable feature of the Galaxy SmartTag 3 is its accompanying case, which includes a carabiner hook, addressing the lack of integrated mounting options on the device itself. Its back includes a Type-C port, and the smart tag sports a sophisticated two-tone design that draws inspiration from Samsung’s smartwatch aesthetics.
Measuring approximately 3 x 3 centimeters and under one centimeter in thickness, the SmartTag 3 will support Ultra-Wideband (UWB) technology as well as Bluetooth Low Energy (LE). This combination promises precise location tracking and connectivity.
Samsung Will Also Offer Various Accessories for Its New Smart Tag
In addition to the SmartTag 3, it appears that Samsung is planning to release accessories to complement the device. Among these are various cases designed to enhance usability and protection. According to sources, an array of options will include bumper cases, silicone, and leather covers, produced in collaboration with established brands like Spigen.
Notably, a specific accessory has been displayed for pet collars, showcasing Samsung’s proactive approach to ensuring their SmartTag can benefit a broader range of users, including pet owners. The expected pricing for the SmartTag 3 is around $29.99 for an individual unit and $99.99 for a four-pack, with a projected launch date in early October, potentially coinciding with the release of the Galaxy Tab S12 series.
