At CES, Rokid has unveiled its latest innovation in wearable technology: the Rokid Style smart glasses. Designed to be “ultra-light, prescription-first, and crafted for everyday life,” these glasses aim to transform how we interact with our surroundings.
The Rokid Style smart glasses don’t have a display, and are ultra-light
What sets the Rokid Style apart is their unique display-free design. Instead of a conventional screen, they emphasize voice-centric interactions, harnessing the power of artificial intelligence. Rokid has crafted these glasses to be compatible with a vast open AI ecosystem, offering users flexibility outside a singular platform.
Weighing in at just 38.5 grams, these glasses hold the title of being “the lightest full-featured AI glasses on the market,” a claim bolstered by Rokid’s extensive research and development. Unlike many competing products, the Rokid Style supports multiple AI engines, providing a diverse range of functionalities.
They support multiple AI platforms
The Rokid Style glasses are integrated with several significant AI platforms, including ChatGPT, DeepSeek, and Qwen. This versatile AI capability enriches user experiences with services like Google Maps and Microsoft AI Translation, ensuring global usability across varying languages and regions.
In conjunction with the glasses, Rokid has introduced a global online prescription service. This feature caters to a wide range of vision needs, supporting prescriptions from plano to ±15.00D. Users dealing with myopia, astigmatism, presbyopia, progressive lenses, and functional lenses (like photochromic, tinted, blue-light, UV, polarized, and anti-reflective) will find ample solutions.
Moreover, the Rokid Style glasses come with ultra-thin lenses that boast anti-scratch coatings, alongside dynamic photochromatic lenses offered in six color options. Notably, these lenses can transition from indoor glasses to outdoor sunglasses in a mere 25 seconds.
You can get prescription lenses in 7-10 days
With Rokid’s innovative prescription platform, customers can expect their tailored lenses within just 7 to 10 days. “AI glasses are becoming the most natural interface for the next era of computing. Clarity is a fundamental human right,” stated Zoro Shao, Global General Manager of Rokid. This reflects the company’s commitment to user accessibility and technological advancement.
Additionally, the glasses are equipped with aviation-grade titanium alloy hinges, air-cushioned liquid-silicone nose pads, and a stylish D-shaped frame that appeals to modern aesthetics.
Thanks to their dual-chip architecture, the Rokid Style can deliver an impressive 12 hours of typical daily usage, along with over 24 hours of standby time on a single charge, emphasizing convenience and prolonged functionality.
Rokid offers two color options, and the glasses can shoot 4K video
Available in Jet Black and Translucent Gray, Rokid has included a 12-megapixel Sony sensor integrated into the glasses. This feature is complemented by open-ear audio and a versatile imaging system capable of recording in multiple formats (3:4, 4:3, and 9:16). Notably, the Rokid Style can record in stunning 4K quality, with a maximum recording duration of up to 10 minutes.
The global retail price for these innovative glasses starts at $299, climbing to $398 for a ‘Premium Bundle’ that includes the Rokid Ai Glasses Style, 1.60 Prescription lenses, and Photochromic lenses. Customers can already make reservations with an enticing early-bird option, allowing them to secure a $20 discount by placing a $1 deposit.
The official global launch is scheduled for January 19, with availability through Rokid’s website as well as various online and offline retail platforms.
