Introducing the vivo V60 Lite 5G: A New Era for Mid-Range Smartphone Gaming
Earlier this year, vivo unveiled the vivo V50 Lite 5G, an impressive smartphone that followed closely on the heels of its 4G counterpart. Fast forward to now, and vivo has introduced the next generation with the launch of the vivo V60 Lite 5G, setting a new benchmark for mid-range devices.
Performance Upgrades: Dimensity 7360-Turbo Chipset
At the heart of the V60 Lite is the new Dimensity 7360-Turbo chipset from MediaTek. Although it retains designs from the previous Dimensity 7300, this 4nm chip enhances performance significantly. Featuring 4 Cortex-A78 cores clocked at 2.5GHz, 4 A55 cores, a Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, and a 655 NPU, it promises a performance boost over the Dimensity 6300 found in its predecessor.
Stunning Display with Enhanced Features
The V60 Lite comes equipped with a 6.77” OLED display that boasts 10-bit color support and HDR10+ capabilities, making it perfect for streaming services like Netflix and Prime Video. The 1080p+ display also features a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, providing an immersive viewing experience enhanced by stereo speakers.
Battery and Charging: Long-lasting Power
Vivo has made strides in design, slimming the phone down by 0.2mm, bringing it to a sleek 7.59mm thick. Importantly, it retains the robust 6,500mAh battery alongside 90W fast charging. Vivo claims that a fully charged battery can power gaming sessions of up to 12 hours or provide more than 27 hours of YouTube streaming. Remarkably, just 10 minutes of charging can offer enough juice for 6.6 hours of continued viewing.
To further enhance the gaming experience, the V60 Lite includes bypass charging technology to reduce heat and prolong battery life while offering users control over performance modes and refresh rates.
Camera Capabilities: Capture Every Moment
Equipped with a dual-camera setup, the V60 Lite includes a 50MP IMX882 main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The AI Soft Ring serves as a ring flash for better low-light photography. Additionally, the upgraded chipset allows for 4K video recording with both rear and front cameras—an enhancement over the 1080p limitation of the V50 Lite. The selfie camera is a 32MP high-quality option that captures stunning portraits as well.
Storage and Software Configuration
The V60 Lite is available in configurations of either 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM, paired with 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Running Android 15 out of the box, vivo makes a promise for “5 years of smooth experience,” although this doesn’t guarantee five OS updates.
However, the phone retains the IP65 rating from its predecessor, making it resistant to dust and water, although many enthusiasts may have hoped for an upgraded rating. Its drop-resistant design remains a notable feature, enhancing its overall durability.

The vivo V60 Lite 5G is currently listed on the company’s Taiwanese site, though pricing details and global launch information are yet to be announced. As this model makes its way into more markets, it holds the potential to capture the interest of consumers looking for powerful performance in a stylish and durable package.
