Works pretty great, considering the very low price.Fingerprint reader is quickBrightness goes from very bright to very dimComes with pre installed plastic screen protector and caseCamera has some megapixelsComes pre installed with a few apps, but not too many, software is clean android otherwise as far as I can tellBe aware it is an android go software version, which takes some getting used to compared to full androidHas headphones jackIt thin and bigScreen responsiveness is okay, matching expectations, pixel density is okayBuy this expecting a flagship or even upper mid range phone and you will not be impressed. Buy this expecting a budget phone and you will be fully satisfied.

Great Value unlocked phone
I’ve been using the UMIDIGI G9X for a few weeks now, and I’m honestly impressed! The 6.75″ 90Hz display is super smooth and bright, perfect for watching videos and scrolling. Android 14 runs clean and fast, and the Octa-Core processor handles multitasking with no lag. Battery easily lasts a full day with the 5000mAh capacity. Face ID works surprisingly well, and I love having dual SIM support and fully unlocked to use for any carrier. GPS and FM radio are handy extras. For the price, this phone is a steal—perfect for everyday use without breaking the bank. Highly recommend for anyone needing a budget-friendly unlocked phone.

the Umidigi G9X delivers exceptional value
The Umidigi G9X is a standout choice for anyone on a tight budget. I found it to be a fantastic backup phone, offering impressive performance for its very low cost. What’s Great:* Excellent Value: You get more than you pay for.* Surprisingly Fast: The 90Hz refresh rate makes scrolling feel buttery smooth.* Ready to Go: Comes with a free case and a pre-installed screen protector.* Decent Build: Feels solid in hand despite its plastic construction.Where it Compromises:* Screen: The 720p display is only average and not bright enough for sunny days.* Audio: The built-in speaker quality is poor; Bluetooth earbuds are recommended.Overall, if you can overlook the screen and audio limitations, the G9X is a reliable and highly affordable Android phone.

Bait and switch?
The product is not compatible with any domestic cell service, good for use only on foreign cell services. Why would you sell a product not for any US cell service? I’m very unhappy about this. Steve

It has limitations, but better than expected.
[The two pictures taken were taken using the 30MP rear camera of the Umidigi G9x]For the money it’s significantly better than I thought it would be. I originally bought it to test it out, because I was unfamiliar with the Umidigi brand and I needed a phone that could read my SIM card and perform my day-to-day task.To my surprise it did everything I needed it to almost to the letter. There are some obvious limitations, with the OS being Android GO (Basically a lite budget friendly version of Stock Android) it can’t download everything or do everything regular Stock Android can, but it’s good enough if you’re looking for a phone for someone younger or you just need a device to cover the basics without breaking the bank.-The phone itself, it’s not metal but the design of the phone itself is very pretty with only 3 different colors to it, but it’s sleek, not too big or small, with a… I’ll say Apple inspired look to it. Though I can’t speak for how durable it is… I didn’t really want to drop this thing at all.For something you don’t usually get with most flagship brand phones anymore; this device comes with the default transparent case, alongside a type-C cable & Charger port in the same package. And as an added bonus it comes with a (already on) screen protector out the box.More about the G9x:•Can’t do much in terms of decorating your home screen, but if you’re buying this phone you’re looking more for quick convenience rather than personalization.•If you use certain banking apps like Cash app or Chime they won’t work. In fact there are a number of apps that don’t yet or don’t have any plans to have Android GO support. But the traditional Google apps do work (not regular Google search, you get Google GO) as well as all the usual social apps operate just fine.•Video quality is locked in at around 720p on YouTube or the built-in media player, so you’re not getting super high def or 60fps media from this device.•Sound quality isn’t bad, but it’s nothing that’s gonna “Make your party pop off.” It has a single speaker at the bottom next to the charger port and mic, but it gets the job done.•Battery life is… It’s okay, it will get you through the day. But by no means is it lasting you 48 hours of usage (Maybe 10 to 15 hours I guess.)•Phone calls…. I recommend headphones, otherwise you’ll be talking with the device horizontally in hand because it’s so hard to hear from the basement speakers.•Wi-Fi connectivity is decent, however there are times where it struggles to properly communicate with the router which results in longer load times, lagging, or timing out. But for the most part it’s good with staying connected with WiFi that’s a 2.4 frequency.•The camera at 30MP with some AI correction is better than I thought it would be for the price. It’s surprising clear with decent facial recognition, but I wouldn’t be doing any Godiva or Gooche photoshoots with this bad boy anytime soon.-All in all my conclusions is: This phone is really good for the price, supporting most US SIM cards unlocked. It’s a good sidepiece kinda phone, where you could get your kid a phone without paying 6 figures, or you just need a phone to use to float by until your get yourself the main phone you need. The G9x is great for the basics, but if you’re looking for a device for the long haul… I’d advise to look elsewhere.

4 G only! Lots of service issues!
The phone is a good solid phone. The charger comes with and the battery holds well.Negative!!! It’s only 4g which I thought would be fine BUT my child can’t even send a text from school without WiFI. Calling works sometimes.

Got this mobile for doing Uber app delivery and is perfect. Large screen size and brightness with excellent battery life. Just as good as the more expensive mobiles out there. Highly recommended 5 stars 😊

This is the first time I have ever ordered something from Amazon, and I was amazed! It promised to deliver my Umidigi 9x between 4am and 7am the next day. Considering that I ordered it in the early evening, I honestly didn’t think it would be possible. But amazingly, it arrived at 5:30 right on time! I was very happy about this. And I think the phone is great. It is a large size screen. And it holds far more apps than my previous phone. The RAM is lower than I am used to, so on a rare occasion I notice that there is a lag between completing a task. But I can deal with that, an extra second or two. The one issue I’ve noticed, which isn’t the fault of Umigidi, but the fault of the app makers, is that some of them don’t work. When I try to open some apps, it tries, but then closes the app. I looked this up and discovered it is because the app maker has not updated their app to work with the new Android operating system. Everything exceeded my expectations from delivery to the actual product. Thank you Amazon!

The phone has been working fine and is up to par. However, when I first received it, I fully charged it and set it up but the speaker did not work. I did a factory reset and made sure not to load any additional apps and the speaker still did not work, even after several reboots. I fully charged it again and sent a notification to it from my computer and finally the speaker worked. Everything else is fine, so far.
