Good Purchase
Even it’s like new but bargain price for the laptop specs, this easily can cost $2500 for Mac with same specs. I can finally use this for my education in cybersecurity. Good purchase.

Good allrounder
Laptop perfomrs good , battery last about 10 hours on youtube and and office work , if you do some serius stufff then you will get closer to 6.enormus diference of performance when plugged in , also a 20% performance increase when over a laptop ventilation base. measured in cinebench R23 14.534 and speeds of 2.3mhz vs 16.308, and speed tops at 3.3.advertised speeds are single core and for short durations.screen is really awesome super nice , good colors and more than you need brightnessover all it performs as espected.a couple of defects, Track pad not good at all finger get kind of sticky on it , not a good surface to slide fingers , any whay I always use a external mouse.finger print magnet , it gets dirty really quickly .there is a bit of a gap where you open the lid.

Simple!
It’s now been a year with this laptop and I absolutely love it. I got it for college, I was looking for something inexpensive and just enough to research, essays, homework pretty basic stuff. It’s nice and simple and works for just exactly what I need it for. I’ve had 0 issues with it, however I also don’t load it up with a ton of personal stuff like pictures or videos as I have a PC for that, so it doesn’t run slow or lag at all. If you’re looking for something straightforward with easy tasks, this is your best bet. Also picked out by my tech nerd sibling.

great laptop
The laptop has a great display, it’s very lightweight for the performance, the intergrated gpu is way better than expected.I have installed linux on it though and every distro crashes randomly approx. once a day.If you want to install linux, I recommend waiting a few months for newer drivers. When trying to install windows, it requires some drivers, but no driver from the ASUS website works.

issues with built-in webcam cover
Update 09/14/2025: I’ve noticed a problem with the built-in webcam cover. The sliding shutter does not function properly. Even when I move the slider to the open position, the camera lens remains covered — the orange indicator stays visible and the webcam cannot be used. It seems the cover is misaligned or defective (see pics and video)Original review: I bought a NEW (as I thought based on listing) laptop 08/01/2025. I registered my laptop with ASUS and system (MyASUS) showed a warranty expiration date as 09/14/2025. I sent an Amazon invoice to ASUS to fix the warranty expiration date (12 month after purchase date). Here is a response from ASUS: “Please be advised that we can’t offer standard warranty for your unit as it was purchased as used. We offer 90 days warranty as a courtesy. The warranty end date is 10/30/2025.” Amazon listing (official ASUS store) did NOT mention that the unit was USED only invoice has note: Condition USED – very good.

WELL. . . .
Do not expect to be able to read the keys in low light as the backlit keyboard works just fine as long as one has a flashlight to shine on it. Other than that, it is working fine, screen colors are good if not better than that, it was packaged well and it seems to be working well.

Amazing laptop!
I got this for work, it’s extremely fast to boot up, I love the copy paste feature and navigation has been great with the new windows. I would recommend for work/school. However, I did have to immediately take it out of home mode as it was too limiting.

Got it for Singapore $381. Wish it came with at least double the capacity of storage space; but can’t complain for the price paid. Will do an upgrade after warranty expires.

La laptop llega bien y para oficina o trabajo escolar básico cumple, su batería es justa ya que solo brinda 4-5 horas de autonomía, de ahí todo bien.
