Good product
I love my computer, I bought about 8 months ago. My only complain is that I would have love to have more RAM and at that time this was the highest available, but it works well, it is fast, powerful and decent looking. I only use it at my desk so I am not sure about the battery.

I’ve been using the ASUS Vivobook 16-inch, and it’s a solid performer. The FHD+ display (1920 x 1200) provides great screen space, perfect for multitasking. The design is sleek in black, and despite the larger screen, it’s still quite portable.With the Intel Core i7-1255U and 40GB of RAM, it handles everything I throw at it, from multiple apps to heavier tasks. The 1TB SSD ensures fast load times and plenty of storage. I love the HDMI port for easy external display connection, and the Wi-Fi is strong and reliable.It comes with Windows 11, which runs smoothly, and while the webcam isn’t the best, it works well enough for video calls. Battery life is decent, but for power-heavy tasks, it drains quicker.Overall, it’s a powerful laptop that balances performance with portability.

Problems keep growing. 3rd Update 11/17/2024 Wasted two hours with 3 Asus techbicians
Update November 17-2024, watched movies on YouTube last night and this morning the laptop had no sound. Checked all audio drivers good, but strange messages saying:Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.Asus tech says this a software problem not a hardware problem. They had me download new device drivers that didn’t help and update my BIOS that didn’t help. I’m thinking they don’t want to admit it may be a hardware problem while still under warranty. Actually, I’m hoping the same thing because I don’t want to return this laptop for repair and wait forever to get it back and probably have to reinstall all my software for a second time.BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE IS DON”T BUY THIS.Updated review November 5-2024, four months after thoroughly enjoying this wonderful laptop it crashed after a cascading failure of critical Windows system files. I am now exploring various ways to revive the laptop and/or recover my files. I do not know the exact cause of the failure, either Windows 11 Home Edition failed or the Solid State Drive failed. I will post additional updates tomorrow after I receive the Boot Recovery USB device I just ordered from Amazon.I absolutely love the quality of the high definition display. I enjoy watching movies on Amazon Prime and YouTube and the resolution is outstanding. The only fault is in the speakers and when set up in stereo mode they are so weak that dialog is almost impossible to hear BUT when switching the speaker mode to monaural the sound was better. The speakers are on the bottom of the laptop very close to the surface it sits on. By propping up the back a little bit makes a world of difference. When watching a movie from arms length the stereo feature wasn’t important to me anyway. The only other problem I encountered was getting around in Windows 11. My main desktop still uses Widows 7 and I feel after using this OS for 15 years I am very comfortable with it, and Windows 11 seems like a foreign language to me. There are so many things that I can do in Windows 7 that I haven’t been able to do in Windows 11 makes me believe that Microsoft cut back on those features to trim the program size. Anyway, I didn’t buy this Asus notebook computer to run a lot of stuff, this was my Interest entertainment and it does this beautifully.

I am REALLY pleased with this purchase. I use my personal computer mostly for word processing, game sites and communication. Everything is so much faster than my previous computer In addition, this computer is relatively light; the screen is a nice size for my aging eyes; and keyboard has nice touch (though the leaders not being centered is a hard bit getting used to.) This is a quality too, especially for the price.
