This is a great camera and it has alot of extra attachments for you to use. Unfortunately it does not have night vision and I wanted it so I ended up not keeping it. The customer service is excellent, very responsive to my inquiries and the return process with Amazon has been seamless.The camera can be used without connecting it to your phone via an app. And once you are connected to the app, you can press record from your phone. Also all the saved data from the memory card can be seen right away on the app. You can edit or delete them right on the phone. It is actually very convenient. This part was not clear in the manual but once you use the wifi to connect to the camera, that’s when you can connect to the app on the phone. But this wifi connection is done manually each time, so you have to toggle it back and forth. It takes a little getting used to but once you understand how to operate it by itself or through the app, it’s actually very easy to remember.If the later version has night vision, I would definitely consider it.

Good Small Camera
This is Small yet powerful camera, the Action Camera delivers good, vibrant footage whether cycling, running or hiking. I am suprised by how well it captures. The included 64 GB card and waterproof case is a plus. The magnetic clip and quick-mount accessories simplify setup. its small size, battery life holds up well on a full day of shooting. Overall, a good and, budget-friendly camera for outdoor. Also, stabilization is great along with the wide camera angle too.

All the gear arrived nicely packed but it does not mean much once all files captured by the camera (videos and photos) are corrupted. You simply can’t see anything you capture. I’ve been trying recording through both the app and just the camera. I’ve tried downloading the file through both the app and by connecting to my computer. It might work as a webcam but I haven’t tested it for it was not what I meant it to be.I bought it because I trusted the reviews but the camera has became a useless paperweight.
