Good mono headset.
I’ve looked for a mono headset for years. All I could ever find was a headphone designed for tv and I got that twice but they were trash and broke quickly. So I’ve been using earbuds but my ears don’t like having an earbud in all day. I listen to media on my PC all day as I work/do chores etc.I had “Bone conduction” over the ear hook “earbuds” most recently that were good but are wearing out now so I tried a search for single ear headset again and was pleasantly surprised to see these.Bonus points for it being convertible to a full headset if I want too. Most of the time I need to keep one ear open to my environment though and pushing a full headset off one ear is super uncomfortable. So far so good. (edit:I just saw there is a newer model and it’s currently cheaper. The only difference is battery life 70 vs 50h, so buy which ever is cheaper at the time)They feel comfortable enough. The padding of the cup goes around the ear and doesn’t rest on it. Would be nicer if they had more velveteen type cover though to reduce heat retention against the skin but it’s the same as most as is. I may look for replacement covers later but it’s soft and feels fine. The mic is reversible so you can do a single headset on either ear you like.Range is great with dongle. Way better than bluetooth. I went all the way to the opposite corner of the home with an outside wall between me and the computer at the far corner from me and it sounded just as clear with no drops as right next to it. I even wore it to go get some firewood and it still got clear signal with a metal shed between the headset and the dongle way back in my room. I didn’t bother to try the bluetooth but assume that would compare with the range my earbuds were getting.Sound quality is good. There are definitely better headsets or headphones out there. If you get these you’re most likely more concerned with what they do, convert to a mono headset. They sound good. They sound better than any of my earbuds. Much more range and I can hear things I couldn’t with the buds. They are also MUCH louder as earbuds are required to limit how loud they can get to try and prevent hearing loss.Want to add that I’m in a very noisy room as I have a wall heater right next to me with a VERY loud fan and this sounds good. I have the volume at 30% when I almost always had volume at 80%-100% with earbuds, and that sometimes still not being enough. It’s handy that the headset has pause/play and volume buttons on it. The volume button controls the devices volume rather than have it’s own volume boost, but as I’ve said it’s plenty loud. Slight down side is they are positioned to be blocked by the mic, when it’s in the upright position. They are very light. For me this is a big plus as a past headset I had was very heavy and was always falling off. This fits well. Pretty close to perfect for me at the smallest adjustment. Despite being light they do not seem to be flimsy. I’ll find out with time. The instruction book is nice and clear. So over all great mono headset. Good sound. Not the best headset out there but I’ve for sure had worse sounding. These sound perfectly fine and if you’re an audiophile you probably aren’t looking for a mono headset anyway. Good base and highs, all you need for basic media listening.Tip: if something doesn’t work check on updating the device driver. Pause stopped working for me but that fixed it)

Great sound and noise canceling, perfect for truckers!
Headset arrived early which is always a plus. I’ve been running a cleardryve for about 5 years. I wanted to try this one because it appeared to have the same features for a fraction of the price. Sound quality and noise canceling are very good. The cleardryve has a little better sound quality, but the price difference wouldn’t be justified. This unit is much lighter, took a day or two to get used to the controls, but overall is very good. I don’t know how durable it is yet, I replaced a cleardryve about every year and a half to two years. If this makes it a year, it will be a better investment. I really like the USB-C charging port. Most other headsets use a barrel connector or a micro USB. The USB-C is far superior for longevity. The the second ear muff works just like the cleardryve, overall I would recommend it for truckers like myself. I’ve been using it for about a week so far, but I think this is the best budget friendly option. It’s way better than a blue parrot at the same or better price point.

Great quality for the price
This is actually my second pair of these. I broke the fist pair and theses are so comfortable they have such good noise cancellation and the quality of sound I had to have another pair. The quality and connectivity is so easy. The price is great.

Hubby Likes It! Works For Calls & General Audio
I (the husband) bought this headset for the ability to switch between one and two ear pieces, and the price. I prefer to use both speakers to hear better, but it is not practical in public. One car does not have an “Infotainment System”, so it isn’t safe to take a call while driving with both ears covered. The pad that switches out the removable earpiece is a bit stiff for my head, but I usually wear a cap that takes car of that issue. It is only OK for music, with emphasis on the bass and treble that is artificial sounding to me. I really bought this for voice calls, which this Tecknet does well. The ear pads and speaker can assembly does not block out external sound as well as my previous headset. I was not able to successfully pair two sources with the headset via bluetooth, but using the USB dongle that comes with it allowed me to connect with my workstation. This is acceptable to me, since I can move it to my laptop when I travel. If you are looking for a headset that sounds better with music while blocking out external sound, read on…I had an Avantree Aria Pro headset with fixed stereo speakers and a removable microphone It sounded much better than this one to me. It was much better at blocking out exterior sound than the Tecknet. The microphone was a bit cumbersome to work with, often slipping out of the socket. It lasted just short of 3 years. At the time of this writing, it was selling for around $100 US dollars.[2025-08-12 Update from the husband]:. I had an issue back in May… The detachable earpiece started rattling, like the speaker element came loose. I emailed them to find out if I could open it up and fix it. After a few emails, I had a total replacement!. I just took the ear piece and put it on the original headset, and again had stereo. I let wifey take the new one for her phone and just used the one speaker configuration. A month later, the removeable headset started sounding distorted. Testing between the two headsets, the old one had the issue. We swapped and were back in business.. Today, the replacement headset started sounding distorted. I am afraid I need to look for another stereo headset with microphone. It still sounds great with one earpiece, but I want both.

Ordene los auriculares porque tenían cancelación de ruido pero parece que solo es falsa propaganda porque se sigue escuchando el ruido.

After returning to the office a couple of days a week after working almost exclusively from home for the last couple of years, I found that many meetings were still taking place virtually and that this was difficult in a shared office space with a handful of colleagues doing the same. We have limited private breakout spaces so I went looking for a headset that I could use for online meetings that had some flexibility in how it was used and came across this. The headset build quality is great considering its price. It feels sturdy yet is lightweight and very comfortable to use. The microphone can be easily rotated upwards and out of the way when not required, for example, for webinars or listening to music and audio books and rotated back for a call. Using the included USB plug-in, connection to my work laptop was automatic and super easy as was connecting via bluetooth to my phone and tablet. The option to click one of the headphones out is a really useful addition as I sometimes need to be on a virtual call with members of my team working in the same office as well as others elsewhere – this option means I am able to be aware of what is going on in the office while being fully involved in the call. I just need to make sure I don’t misplace the connector!Sound quality is really decent for what I need. There is a mute button on the headset as well as buttons for call answering/ pause and play and volume control. The headset came almost fully charged which was a nice touch as I was able to use it right out of the box and there is an included USB charging cable. A stand with storage for the USB plug in and headset clip would have been a useful addition to keep everything together but for the price I’m happy overall.

First headset I purchased that is close to what is described. It’s well-built, and comes true on both its sound input (hearing) quality and sound output (speech) quality to others. Most other headsets only focus on their hearing quality and not the heard quality at the other end. It is usually poor for the other end. Rest is as described.

Initially I had a problem with these, but once sorted they are a really good headset, with great sound and most importantly, they have a good loud microphone. I’ve bought headsets in the past and the sound level on the microphones have always let them down, but not this one… nice and loud and clear. The sound from the earphones is good when listening to music or voice, not tremendously bassy, but enough for you to enjoy the music. Bluetooth connected first time without any issues. I really like that you can use just one earpiece or click in the other for stereo playback, perfect for my needs in different situations. One thing to note, initially, I had sound from the earpieces when on a chat program, but as soon as I unmuted the mic on the chat interface, the sound coming from the headset stopped. After a bit of trial and error, I ran the troubleshooter for the speakers and then for the microphone using the windows sound controls and it fixed the problem, so you might need to do the same. All in all, a really comfortable headset with good sound from both the input and the output. Very pleased.

Firstly, as this is a Bluetooth headset, I don’t use this for gaming to avoid any latency issues. However my gaming set (Corsair HS70) is a bit delicate after a couple of years, so I decided to try something like these Tecknet ones for day to day office use.I’d never expect the Tecknet to compete with the HS70 on all levels, but some general thoughts:- Battery life of the Tecknets is good (managed 2 working days of continual use, HS70 only lasts one)- Tecknets aren’t as comfortable around my ears but are fine for a working day.- Tecknets aren’t as strong, so not sure what the longevity will be. They don’t feel like they will break easily, they just aren’t quite as sturdy.- Tecknets are lighter as a result of the above, which is good for long periods of use.- Range is good on the bluetooth (weirdly struggle with the HS70s even though they are 2.4GHz wireless not bluetooth)- Headset button/control options are great on the Tecknets, HS70 only really has volume + mute!- Sound is good, but not going to be for an audiophile (the HS70s neither probably!)All in all, very good for the budget and perfect for in the office!
