Phenomenal Battery Life, Calibrate The BP Monitor
I got the Yowow BIT Blood Pressure Smart Watch Air Pump Air Bag, Voice Broadcast, Data Sharing, 2.06″ AMOLED Fitness Tracker, 24/7 Heart Rate/Blood Oxygen/Sleep/Body Temperature, SOS, Black (Black) because I needed a reliable way to spot-check my blood pressure during the day without hauling out the cuff… I wear it most days while juggling the baby and running errands.Battery life is the headline for me… I run brightness up, screen-on time long, and continuous health monitoring and this thing still goes a week plus with heavy use. That freedom changes how you use a watch because you stop babysitting the charger. The 2.06″ AMOLED is bright and easy to read outside which makes quick checks painless. Call quality is good enough for short hands-free moments and the health sensors log heart rate, SpO2, temperature and sleep so trend watching is effortless. The blood pressure feature required the usual calibration against my home cuff… once dialed in, and with the band snug and my wrist level with my heart, the readings track consistently for everyday trend monitoring. The sensor area wipes clean after workouts but the fabric section doesn’t pop off for machine washing which is a mild annoyance. The face has handled keys and doorframes without scratching so the build feels solid for daily life. This model ships with a metal casing and an upgraded watch band which account for the higher price… the metal casing gives the watch a noticeably more premium feel and the band is sturdier and more comfortable for all-day wear.Minor quirks… the voice prompts have a very strong accent and you can read texts but not reply from the watch, even with like preset emojis or anything. For dependable BP checks, outstanding battery life, and straightforward health tracking this nailed what I bought it for. Five stars from me.──────── RATING LEGEND────────⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars = Nailed it… exactly as advertised or even better⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4 Stars = Solid… but something’s off, mis-represented, or overpriced⭐⭐⭐ 3 Stars = Meh… not terrible, but not worth the money or time⭐⭐ 2 Stars = Yikes… functional but major issues, buyer beware⭐ 1 Star = Absolute trash… should not exist

    Blood pressure measurements not accurate
My main reason to buy this watch was blood pressure monitor. I’m frequently measuring blood pressure and at the same time i measure with the more regular one which come with airbag and wrapped on left arm. I see a huge difference in reading. Not very accurate. Always reads high. Would end up returning it.

    OK for Android
I wanted to test this watch for a while and write a full review to help people, so I apologize if this gets long but hopefully it answers questions as well. Background – I am a IT professional / Apple device user with several Apple watches and Android “Smart” watches in the past.Purpose – My 84 yo father needs a watch to help monitor his health. He used a android phone at the time of purchase and in fact switched to a iPhone last week when his Samsung died.Unbox / Setup – When you unbox this watch it’s a bit overwhelming. The watch itself is Huge and Heavy. While it could be placed on my wife’s wrist it could not be secured so Men’s / Women watch claim is largely false. It needs a Big wrist/arm to support it unnoticed.Next thing you’ll see is a strange proprietary charge cord. It is completely unique to this watch so guard it carefully, the life of your watch depends on that cord. The instructions baffled my wife and father but were clear enough to me to start it charging and download the required Health wear App.The App – requires a account to be made and then syncs very easily to the watch. Since the Watch and App are required, I’ll touch on the App a bit here. It’s fairly easy to use for a non-technical user. I set it up and left it with my father to play with and he managed to setup a few things to change the watch face, and get the heart rate monitor to work over one evening. His biggest frustration was the instructions being in Chinese or something and it’s true enough to mention. The images are kind of enough but not quite. After some fiddling I found his sleep data and other info from the previous night so it was working but not intuitive.Watch – The battery seems to last a good few days and the heart rate monitor and such are working well enough to use as a quick reference in case something happens to him. The Blood pressure taking process however is not well documented and annoying. The watch gets stuck in a mode where it’s telling you to move your arm and place it in a better position. Again the instructions fail you, providing only a couple of illustrations of how to place your arm. Doing so just got him yelled at in another manner. Long story short we have never had a actual blood pressure reading from the watch. Even if I could during a time when one is urgent it’s just not something reliable enough to use. Sleep monitoring seems to be working right and agree with his opinion of when he fell asleep it even showed some breathing issues at night, I knew about but surprised him. All around I give the medical side of the watch a B grade. This watch is mostly a medical monitoring watch for me, big bulky but working steadily and dependably on android. It also worked well with a iPhone 12. I think the exercise side of the watch works but really with the size and weight of the watch I would never take it running with me. Maybe weightlifting lolAs far as syncing with the phone to make calls. This has not been my focus except to make sure it could answer/make the calls with both phones, it did. That way if he fall’s he can at least use the watch to call for help. Don’t forget to add 911 to the contacts though so he can call them from the watch if needed. So in closing as far as value this is OK at best for Android, and fails as a Apple watch really. I will be purchasing a Apple watch for him at Christmas to replace it now that his phone is a iPhone. If he was still on Android I’d keep it but the $200 price tag is really to high for the failed blood pressure issues and size and weight issues.Hope this helps folks.
