I would be giving the phone 5 stars honestly, my wife and I both have this phone and have since about the time it came out. It performs and holds up well, still good battery life and phones still look almost new, and we like the features and minimal bloatware that come with the Motorola phones. We got this renewed phone because it was one of the cheapest to replace another person’s phone on our account that they lost and we know it will work with our carrier (now AT&T).I am updating my review because I have been on a rant about Motorola not following through with updating this phone to Android 12, this seems to have become the case with them of only pushing one version update of Android anymore and it is disappointing. Well, I discovered Lineage OS that has a fair amount of builds for Motorola phones and will bring this phone to Android 13. The downside is that it takes some knowhow to install it, but they have good step by step instructions on their website. This phone will run it and run it pretty great if you feel comfortable enough to do the install, however, you must follow the directions carefully to a T, not doing so runs the risk of bricking the phone.

I got this for my husband because his old phone had been dropped too many times – we’ve all been there right?We have Tello phone service so I had to find a phone that was compatible. Come to find out most all are.I looked on Amazon because they sell refurbished phones. This phone in particular is awesome.It was NOT a hassle to switch everything over either. The set up of the phone is so easy and it has all the bells and whistles, it has things on it that mine doesn’t have.If someone just saw this phone in person they would think it was very expensive, I paid $69 for it and got him a super heavy duty phone case. The total for both was $80 and some change.100% Guarantee.If your thinking about getting a phone and are leary of a refurbished phone, don’t be my husband loves his phone.I hope this helps someone else.
