Coolest, fastest, toughest phone ever
This thing is so incredibly fast. I love it. I really like the programmable side button. Very cool. I don’t mind that it’s big and heavy, I’m a big guy. That could be a potential con but not for me. Love the watch and the camp light. The battery lasts 2 or 3 days using it all day. I also got an amazing deal for it. I’ve also dropped it a couple times already and not even a scratch. Very impressed how tough and how fast this phone is. I can’t say enough good things about this phone. From connectivity, battery size, the toughness, speed and all the extras. Did I mention it has an underwater picture setting?!!! So cool.

Very good and robust everyday work phone
I have had several so called tough phones in the past years. This one was an excellent choice. It’s modular smart watch and detachable light features stand out. As long as you are careful and don’t snag the watch release buttons on the strap, you should be ok. The wp300 is fast and works on all available t Mobile bands in the US. Nice screen size, expandable ram and sd card up to 2tb is a plus. It’s massive battery means you don’t have to have a power pack nearby. Just charge it and go. I found extensive use in rugged environments using it to do inspections, phone calls and as a hotspot all at once drop the battery to 47% at the end of a ten hour day. For me this is a primary work device and it’s proved it can handle a full days tasks. It’s companion is the oukitel rt8 tablet, also an excellent product from oukitel. This company makes a good product. I would highly recommend these to anyone mobile and on the job. Always check your carriers bands for assurance that the device you buy will work with your carrier. Not For Dainty Hands
It feels solid and heavy like a brick but fit for men who frequently engage in rough outdoor activities. My husband broke a few phones already just by dropping them on concrete- expensive cases didn’t help- so this “brick” is perfect. The functions are intuitive so it’s fairly easy to customize and navigate around. We just got this phone for a few weeks so we can’t tell how it will perform in the long run, but so far so good, large and bright color screen, Google Play app preloaded, camera with indoor auto flash. A complimentary smart watch comes with the phone but we can’t read Chinese characters on it (Oukitel is made in Hong Kong as indicated)…Video reviews on YouTube say it can be used as an earbud for short conversation. We haven’t tried it.

This phone has a clear screen, smooth operation, stable signal, and excellent photography. The battery life is great, allowing me to take photos and navigate all day without any issues. I’ve put it through several mud and rain tests, and it’s still holding up just fine. Highly recommended!

It could have been great…
I was hopeful that this was gonna be an awesome phone, but sadly it was kinda of a letdown.First, while the size and weight didnt really bother me, the absolutely massive camera bump (square tower really) has a bad habit of getting hung up when taking the phone in and out of my pockets. Second was the battery life. I got less than 2 days out of it initially which was sad compared to other smartphones Ive had that lasted much, much longer on smaller (10000mah) batteries. My BV8900 regularly got 4 days but I cant manage 3 on this device. I tried turning down the refresh rate and limiting the brightness but it still sucked down battery to the tune of 30-40% a day. For a 16000mah device thats not ok.Finally, and damningly, something in the software is preventing notifications from always showing/playing unless sound is on. Like they dont even show in the notification tray. Vibrate just doesnt work as a notification method. This is an absolute deal breaker. Whats the point of a phone if it doesnt notify you when you need it to?The screen is great, very bright and sharp. Its also plenty fast with no hangups or hiccups. Tmobile connectivity worked well. The included watch/light/earbud thing is really cool and actually less gimmicky than I thought it would be (being able to pop your watch into your phone to charge it is actually REALLY nice). I found myself using the earbud function a lot and Im gonna miss that part when I send it back.As a package it would be a great deal, if only it would notify me of texts and voicemails in vibrate.
