Good for the price! Don’t let negative reviews scare you off.
Overall the Moto G Pure is a good phone for the money.I do not play games or take a lot of photos. I do not have a lot of apps installed either. I use the phone for calls, texts, navigation, browsing the interwebs, and using a few apps (amazon, ebay, offer up, banking, health care). For these purposes, the phone is more than adequate. I am VERY happy with the purchase. I was going to use this phone as a temp phone until the new iPhone SE reviews came out. I like the G Pure so much that I might just keep it long term. So, if you have a similar use case, then do not be scared of the reviews showing horrible geekbench scores for the MediaTek Helios processor. Also, the near stock Android experience with no bloatware is refreshing. I like the little moto tweaks, like chopping twice for the flashlight. However, there are some caveats:There is no 5G and no NFC. So no google pay (do you trust google?). The lack of 5G is not a deal breaker for me as my carrier charges extra for 5G anyways. The face unlock is unreliable (boo). I do not take selfies, so it could very well be that I am holding the phone incorrectly when trying to unlock the phone. However, I feel like an idiot moving the phone around trying to get the phone to unlock with facial recognition until the phone gives up and begs me to use fingerprint or PIN unlock. I was really hoping this feature was going to make me feel like I have a cheap iPhone. I was mistaken. This is not a deal breaker, but it is a let down. The storage is a pitiful 32 GB. The OS alone with the preinstalled google aps uses about half of that. So if you have/need lots of apps look elsewhere. My previous 2017 phone also had the same amount of storage but more carrier bloatware. Still, the 32 GB feels cramped for me and will definitely feel cramped for most people. The OS is android 11. This is already one version behind the current android 12 (at the date of purchase Feb. 2020), but the G Pure is supposed to get updated to android 12 and then that’s probably it. This is the reason that I chose the G Pure over the G Play. The G Play has a bigger battery and a more commonly targeted Qualcomm processor. But the G Play has android 10 and will only get updated to android 11. Why does Motorola makes such good phones and have such a horrible update policy? If any Motorola bots are reading this, please note that I would buy a more expensive Motorola phone AND recommend Motorola to others if this were not the case. As it stands, I expect every Motorola phone purchase to result in being abandoned before you even get your new phone in the mail.I know that there are more “cons” listed than “pluses”, but I think some of the “cons” would be deal breakers for a lot of people. BUT, overall I am VERY happy with the purchase for my use case and expect to sue the phone for quite some time at the moment. So if you have similar needs, then you should expect to be happy as well.

Reliable Android Smartphone
I cannot afford an iPhone, and this android smartphone is all I need and is of good quality. I like the fingerprint reader, and it does have facial recognition for ease of opening the phone. The battery life is good as I have programs running in the background. Downloaded a free app to alert when battery is below the percent I set up in the app. Yes, the phone is big, but I use a leather case to protect it and store my ID, etc. in the cardholder slots. This is a reliable smartphone and will continue to buy this brand.

Great Value and Performs Well
I got this one for the family to replace a basic flip phone. I use the POWER version of this phone myself and had confidence that it would be a good upgrade from a basic as a first smart phone. It is an EXCELLENT choice as the screen is large and you can configure everything so as not to be too confusing for a non tecchie. The phone call performance is excellent with good sound quality in both directions. This is NOT the fastest phone or one that has a lot of storage or memory…but I knew that going in and I can always add a big microSD if she ever needs more than is included as there is a single slot for one right next to the sim card in the pop out drawer,This one worked perfectly moving the Sim Card from a T Moble account phone and because the PRIOR phone was a BASIC phone…the numbers/contacts did NOT move over or download by themselves as they WILL if you are moving from a smart phone. I had to first EXPORT the contacts to the BASIC phone SIM card before moving the card to the new Moto Pur. Lots of easy videos on this 2 minute job on line.Once I did that…all was well after allowing some time to load up, We got a nice leatherette billfold type case for this and we have a happy family member. I really don’t think there is a better smart phone in this price range and the camera is WAY better than you might think…I think they measure the single lens rather than adding up all separate lenses…NOT the STATE of the ART camera in a $1k phone but Really nice quality at 1/10th the price! If you want more power and storage and camera…get the power version for 100 bucks more…but in the meantime…if you’re needs and your budget are not as great…the Pur is an excellent choice.

I recently purchased the Motorola Moto G Stylus 2023 LTE model, and while my initial expectations were slightly off, I’ve found it to be a very capable device.Upon arrival, it was clear this was an open-box item, rather than a brand-new unit as I had anticipated. However, I must commend the condition of the phone itself – it was absolutely pristine, without a single scratch or blemish. This was a pleasant surprise and speaks to the careful handling of the previous owner or refurbisher. One point of contention was the RAM capacity. The product listing indicated 6 GB of RAM, but the phone actually shipped with 4 GB. While this discrepancy was disappointing, I decided to put the device through its paces with various diagnostic tools. To my relief, all internal components checked out perfectly. The battery health was at a full 100%, and all core functionalities – cameras, sensors, Wi-Fi, and 4G connectivity – are working flawlessly.Performance-wise, the phone handles everyday tasks with ease. Despite the 4 GB of RAM, I haven’t experienced any significant lag in general usage. It did come with a fair amount of pre-installed bloatware, but thankfully, I was able to remove most of it, which helped streamline the user experience. While the phone isn’t running the absolute latest version of Android, the current iteration is perfectly serviceable and I anticipate it will remain so for the next few years, offering good longevity for a budget-friendly device. The integrated stylus is a handy feature for quick notes and navigation, adding a touch of versatility.Overall, despite the initial surprises regarding its open-box status and RAM capacity, the Motorola Moto G Stylus 2023 LTE has proven to be a reliable and well-performing smartphone. Its excellent physical condition and fully functional internal components make it a worthwhile purchase for those seeking a dependable device with stylus functionality at an accessible price point.

This product when I purchased it was described as new and unlocked. Upon arrival, the device had been opened, as the cardboard tear strip was removed and the box was taped closed. Attempting to set up the device was finnicky, and now I know its due to there being apps from three different carriers pre-loaded onto the device. AT&T, Verizon, and Cricket. All three of these providers are not prominent or even available where I live, and upon attempting to remove the apps by enabling developer settings and debug tools, I found that the developer settings had already been enabled. This, along with a dead battery on arrival, indicated to me that the device had been tampered with as well as its packaging. Don’t get your hopes up about being able to clean it up yourself either, all attempts to remove the pre-loaded bloatware bricks the device and requires a full factory reset. Buy the device from Motorola, and get a good phone.

This phone had been opened and the stylus was missing and the instructions were not inside. I tried to get help from both the provider and Motorola and neither did anything. Not very happy.
