Fantastic mount, even for keyboards
I looked at all the keyboard dedicated mounts and most reviews had issues. So I ordered this to put my 17″ keyboard on. This thing is heavy duty and even though narrower than the keyboard but the bottom lip holes it right in place and is perfect for what I was looking for.My desk has a rounded front and I have three monitors. The one on the left is my work monitor and since that placement means I had to lean over to type on the keyboard all day. I’m a systems/software engineer and work from home full time, so needless to say, my back, neck and arms would get sore after a days work.In comes this fantastic arm with a perfect length. Once extended it places my arms in a perfect position to type when I’m sitting straight up in the chair. So it’s a winner for those with awkward situations like mine.One thing to note is, the price is great, but it comes in a lot of pieces, so lots of assembly to do. Instructions are good but tiny text so at my age, had to squint to see which screws I needed.The arm is strong and stays steady and swivels to the side of the desk when not in use. Build is heavy duty and stable if you tighten things as they are supposed to be.Overall, I would recommend this to anyone needing it for a laptop or keyboard. Nicely machined and solid.

Worth a try
I purchased this mount for my secondary laptop on my desk. It’s a very sturdy mount and I might consider keeping it.But be warned the instructions are terrible! Fortunately for me I’m good with my hands. Also as other reviews have stated at certain positions the mount will tilt more to the right at a angle. Not sure why. It’s really a shame because it’s a nice product m

Good
Think about everything you want in this type of product, and it has all those things. Flexible tray where the laptop goes so tilts forward and back. Bendy point on the horizontal arm so you can rotate it. Flexible point where the horizontal arm meets the vertical pole. Very nice size clamp so you can secure it to a variety of surfaces.The ONLY negative thing I have to say is every one of the flexible points where you SHOULD be able to tighten it so it doesn’t move, cannot be tightened enough to actually prevent it from moving. Disclaimer, I use this in my car, so I don’t actually want this thing to move AT ALL once it is in a position. If I am driving and take a corner or a bump I want it to stay where I put it, and I have had to resort to super gluing the joints to keep it in place, and this has worked.So, doesn’t work perfectly without help for the unconventional way I am using it, but is heavy duty, constructed well, has all the flexibility options you could want, and is easy to install, so 5 stars would recommend to everyone. Great product.

tray issue easy fix
Super stand but understand the tray was really loose and I fixed it by installing a shims to the tray connection for a tight fit. No movement while using my macbook and iPads. Take note the stand is heavy duty easy to adjust with my maxbook installed up and down while using two hands. After fixing the tray issue I must say this as what the doctor order. This is the most stable stand I have purchased.

Needs better support for the tray.
Works well The only problem with it that I’ve noticed is that the tray sags quite a bit (about 30 degrees) when I place my laptop on it. I’ve been able to counter somewhat by stringing a small bungie cord from the the far end to the tray to the post. I’ll probably replace that with a wire and a turnbuckle to make finer adjustments.Overall, it’s a good deal for the price, but the addition of something to support the far side of the tray would make it better.

Easy to setup, great for my macbook, very sturdy making me comfortable that my laptop wont fall off. I have noticed at times that the screws on the bottom become a tad loose at times but just a sleight tighten and its good to go

Just installed this on my sit and stand desk. Love that there are multiple ways to mount it and that they are all very sturdy. Appreciate the detail of having a space to hold the Allen wrenches so that they don’t get lost. Would have been nice if a small wrench and Phillips driver were included to mount the laptop tray.
