It’s a solid choice for a new phone
It takes a while to charge for the first time. I paid attention to the instructions about the first few charging cycles. The phone is fantastic so far. The screen colors are stunningly vibrant and I’m not surprised because that’s why I chose this phone. All android phones come with a pesky app that randomly downloads new apps without your consent. Once you locate and disable it things are no longer so weird. The battery lasts a long time and recharges reasonably quickly. Updating apps used to take forever but now it happens fast. On my old phone I had to use a third party app to force stop unused apps in order to get any responsiveness. I still use that app but it’s no longer urgent. The memory size is phenomenal. The button doesn’t always recognize my fingerprint right away and can sometimes take quite a number of tries but I’ve never used such feature before so it’s not a big deal to me. I’m really glad I upgraded.

This Ain’t it Folks
I’ll start by saying that I have been and still am a fan of BLU devices, and I’m fully familiar and comfortable with setting up my own unlocked phone with my carrier; but this one tested my patience more than any before.First impressions were decent, the phone was easy to set up and didn’t have the issues that my previous device was starting to show from age. I was happy that the phone came with all the required accessories plus an actually decent phone case that I didn’t immediately feel the need to replace; but from almost day one, the phone had issues. For being one of the two flagship models released in 2024 by BLU, this phone acted like it was one of the cheap, budget models. From the time I first set it up, it had constant lag and latency. Apps would take several seconds to load or even open. Opera browser in particular, which I’ve never had any issues with on any other devices, from the very begining would regularly completely freeze up and force me to close out of the app in order to get it going again.Within the first two weeks of setting up the phone I had multiple instances of it completely locking up forcing me to hard-reboot it, then when it started up it would lock up AGAIN while loading the Home screen interface. Eventually this would stop, but I would have to go through about half an hour of hard rebooting and praying that it wouldn’t freeze up this time. This issue persisted in various forms, most recent being the phone locking up and then fully crashing at random intervals, could be during a phone call, could be in the middle of using the browser or another app, there was no consistency or clear cause/effect. Sometimes the device would work normally, though still with lag, for couple weeks or more. Other times it would have issues freezing up or crashing multiple days in a row.An annoying quirk I noticed after spending some time with this device, is that using the lock button to lock the screen takes multiple presses if you have a fingerprint set up, because it will scan your finger and re-unlock the phone when you press the Lock button. Another weird issue I started having is whenever I would get a call, it would take approximately 10 seconds and several rings for the phone to actually show me the notification that I was getting the call, and allow me to answer or decline it. Sometimes this took so long that I actually missed the call because the phone never actually showed me the notification, it just rang and rang until it went to voicemail. Small things like that really start to add up when the device is as fundamentally unreliable as this one was. I’m not sure if my issues were purely from something simple like a bad device, but with how many issues I had I almost suspect that there was something fundamentally wrong with the firmware, with how many issues and bugs I experienced in the less than 6 months I spent with it.I finally had enough and ordered the K50, which I’d been debating about before I bought this one; I now thing I should’ve just gone with the K50 from the start. Hopefully that one has less issues. (It already runs much more smoothly with almost no lag after the initial setup)Sadly for the first time I can’t recommend a BLU device; something or several things seem to have been overlooked when this device was shipped, and it makes for a miserable user experience. Get something else.

Great phone for the price!
The verdict is finally in!!I bought the BLU G84 a few months ago and I’ve been really impressed with it. The performance is smooth, it handles all my apps without slowing down, and the screen is big and clear. The battery easily lasts all day, and it charges up pretty fast. I also like the design – it looks and feels premium. The camera takes good photos in decent lighting, and the front camera is clear enough for video calls and selfies. The sound quality is also solid – loud and clear whether I’m on a call or playing music. For the price, this phone is a great deal. No regrets at all.

Decent phone for price point.
Phone works fine. Comes with everything needed. Pictures and display are very good for price. The only thing is it feels kind of heavy. Rufus says 1.15 pounds which is hard to believe. Battery not very long lasting as I find I’m charging it few times a day but I’m playing Word With Friends a lot. The screen protector cracked after two months without dropping it. Somehow got a chip on edge and then it cracked up and down phone.

Only 4G
This is the 5th or 6th Blu phone I’ve owned and I am not very impressed. I didn’t realize it was only 4G and the phone operates slowly with long legs while loading pages and apps. It also has been doing updates every 3 days and downloads apps (games(I don’t want. Spend the extra $30 and get a different model.

Not a bad phone for the price
This phone says All day battery, they didn’t lie. It will only last one day; I went from a 3 day phone, this may be a challenge for some of you. One problem that is bothersome is the brightest button will not stay in place,it keeps sliding back to no brightness on its own. Value and quality are good, and it’s easy to set up. I would have given it a 5 if not for the brightness issue and battery power, but it does state it has one day battery power.

Nice fast feature packed Android phone
Great phone lot of awesome features good storage but about that 3-day battery yeah I don’t think so it depends on what you do with it but if your live streaming I went for a 2-hour ride and went from 100% to 24% when I got home so some things you’ll need to plug it in for I guess it might last 3 days on standby but who does that?

I recomend this product.
