    Best Child Headphones
    1. Works great wired2. Works great wired with the APPLE brand USB-C to Headphone connection if using an iPad or other (did not have luck using Onn brand from Walmart)3. Works great wireless. In fact, this device is consistently the fastest device we own to connect via bluetooth when flying United Airlines and watching a movie on their seatback TVs4. ANC function is very effective5. Good battery lifeI simply cannot believe the quality at this price!!! I cannot recommend this product enough.

    Slick looking headphones
These are slick and stylish looking headphones, my daughter likes them. I bought the blue and white color. The headphones are a good size for her 11 year old head with comfortable ear cups. There are separate power buttons for general listening and the active noise cancellation. Most of the time the ANC isn’t needed so having that off helps with battery life. She uses them a lot so I appreciate the long battery life. They will last her for a day of use at least and I plug them in to charge overnight. I like that the maximum volume is limited so I don’t have to worry about her listening too loud. The sound quality is good. I’ve always been happy with the sound quality of audio equipment from this brand. I trust them to make good stuff.

Disappointing Performance and Uncomfortable Feedback – Not Ideal for Kids
Overall Rating: ★☆☆☆☆ (1 out of 5 stars)Audio Quality and Feedback Issue:Unpleasant and Intrusive: My primary concern with the Altec Lansing Kid Safe Headphones is the significant feedback issue. When I tried them on, any time I would lean or make contact with the sides of the headphones, there was a very loud and jarring feedback noise. This is particularly concerning considering they are designed for children. I can only imagine how uncomfortable and annoying this could be for a young child’s ears, especially during extended use like on our 3-hour road trip. I know it’s supposed to be kid-safe decibel on the volume, but I doubt there’s any testing on the decibel rating of that feedback, ugh it was a loud, sharp sound.Durability and Design:Questionable Build Quality: While the headphones have a foldable design which is convenient for travel, the overall build quality feels lacking. The feedback issue raises concerns about the internal wiring or noise cancellation technology used in these headphones.Kid-Friendly Features:Volume Limitation Not Enough: The 85dB volume limit, a safety feature for children, is overshadowed by the feedback problem. While it’s important to protect young ears from loud sounds, the discomfort caused by the feedback noise negates this safety feature.Child’s Experience:Lack of Complaints Not a Good Sign: My toddler didn’t complain while using them, but I attribute this more to his focus on watching a show rather than the comfort or enjoyment of the headphones. Children, especially when engaged in something they enjoy, might not vocalize discomfort, which doesn’t necessarily mean the headphones are suitable or comfortable for them. Conclusion:Not Recommended for Sensitive Ears: Given my experience with the feedback issue and the potential risk it poses to a child’s hearing, I cannot recommend the Altec Lansing Kid Safe Noise Cancelling Wireless Headphones. There are other kid-friendly headphones on the market that might offer a safer and more comfortable listening experience.

Works great for school or travel
These pair easily with my iPhone so my kiddo can watch movies on the plane and also has a chord to connect it to her Chromebook at school. I like that it has noise canceling technology and it is a good value.

A little bit delicate for kid use
Bought these for my kiddo. They’ve held up well but today we tried to adjust the size by sliding them in and out with the extension and they snapped. Still work oddly, so I ordered a new pair to replace them with. Sound quality is great. Noise canceling is also very good. But it should’ve worked better than that to adjust the over the head sizing without the plastic snapping in two.

    Worth the money.
I needed headsets that are rugged for my 7 year old. I’ve purchased headset after headset. I finally found a pair that could withstand the roughness. These Altec headphones are durable. They’re noise canceling. They’re easy on the ears. My granddaughter is able to pair it to her tablet with ease. She can wear it for hours on a single charge. I recommend them for anyone who needs a headset that can take a licking and keep on ticking.

  7. S Z

Decent sound but range is horrendous
Took maybe three steps out of my room and it already started breaking up; maybe about 10-15 ft so they are really just meant for being in front of a device and not walking around the house. Ear cups are very soft with thick padding though; I didn’t wear them long but I imagine they’re comfortable.

  8. Mary

Love them, sons ears too big unfortunately
They worked very well. Had clear sound. The ear pads themselves were to small for my 5yr old. So if your kid has big ears I wouldn’t suggest.Other than that I was happy with the purchase. Battery lasted a long while. My kid is also very rough on toys, these seem durable enough for him
