The second beta update for the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic has begun rolling out in South Korea. If you are part of the beta program, you should start seeing the update on your device. For those who have not yet received it, manual checks can be performed via the Galaxy Wearable app under the Watch settings, specifically the Watch software update menu.
This beta update is approximately 158.28MB and includes firmware versions R960XXU1ZYI5/R9600XM1ZYI5. It notably brings the September 2025 security patch, ensuring users benefit from the latest security enhancements.
The Update Brings Performance Improvements
The latest beta update fine-tunes the performance of the Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, promising to enhance the overall user experience. Among the critical fixes are issues related to customized services that failed to activate after connecting to a new smartphone, as well as a malfunctioning always-on display (AOD) when specific watch faces were selected.
