The CMF Watch 3 Pro: Overview
The CMF Watch 3 Pro is the latest offering from Nothing, aiming to deliver a budget-friendly smartwatch experience. This device reflects a slight evolution in naming, as it’s the successor to the CMF Watch Pro 2, yet labeled as the third generation.
Design and Display
The watch features a newly upgraded 1.42-inch AMOLED display, an improvement from the previous generation’s 1.32 inches. The display is not only larger but also brighter, boasting slimmer bezels for an improved visual experience. Supporting dual-band GPS, the watch enables enhanced workout tracking capabilities.
However, this sizable increase might not cater to everyone. The watch only comes in one size, which could potentially be too big for smaller wrists. Additionally, while the swappable bezels from previous models have been omitted, the watch maintains its stylish aesthetic along with an affordable price tag. Despite the increased price compared to its predecessor, it still remains competitive in the market.

Performance and Features
The CMF Watch 3 Pro excels in various aspects but holds some caveats. It provides long battery life with up to 13 days on a full charge, even with features maximally utilized, lasting around 4.5 days when the always-on display is activated. Furthermore, it features dual-band GPS, which improves tracking, particularly in densely built environments.
The watch carries 131 different sport tracking modes, showcasing a wide array of options from traditional exercises to some unique choices. With the integration of Nothing’s revamped companion app, users will find health monitoring features have become more robust, allowing for greater customization in heart rate tracking.
However, the Essential News feature, intended to deliver daily news summaries, may require finer tuning as it wasn’t consistently functional during tests. On the other hand, the voice recording and transcription feature functioned appropriately, allowing users to capture thoughts on-the-go.
The watch’s fitness tracking capabilities have been assessed against reputable devices such as the Huawei Watch GT5 Pro, proving to be reliable and accurate. Its performance retains consistency across varied usage scenarios, whether for casual fitness or daily notifications.
Conclusion
While the CMF Watch 3 Pro encounters increased competition within its price bracket, it maintains a noteworthy array of features, a stylish design, and impressive battery life. Though the larger screen may not appeal to all, its performance and functionality make it a compelling choice for those new to smartwatches or those upgrading from older models.
