We’re a little more than a week away from Thanksgiving, but Black Friday deals are already going live at major retailers and manufacturer websites, and so far, the Dell 14 Premium’s starting configuration is only on sale directly from Dell. While slightly less powerful than the model I reviewed, it’s an unbeatable value for the price.

Today’s Best Dell 14 Premium Black Friday Deal

The entry-level configuration of the Dell 14 Premium is particularly appealing, featuring the Intel Core Ultra 7 255H processor, 16GB LPDDR5x RAM, 512GB SSD, and a 14.5-inch 1600p display with a 120Hz refresh rate. This combination makes it one of the top Black Friday laptop deals currently available.

The Dell Premium line is a rebranding of Dell’s popular XPS series, and it has emerged as a strong competitor to the MacBook Pro for users who prefer the Windows 11 ecosystem. If you configure the 14 Premium with an Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, which was included in my review model, you end up with a portable powerhouse that can often outperform comparably priced MacBook Pro models.

On the other hand, while the integrated Intel Arc graphics model will slightly lag behind the M5 MacBook Pro 14-inch in graphics-related tasks—such as video editing—this difference isn’t usually significant enough to impact most users’ choices. If you are not tied to the Apple ecosystem, the Dell 14 Premium stands out as an excellent alternative to the MacBook Pro.
