My Experience with the WITHit Sports Band for Apple Watch SE 2
Since getting an Apple Watch, I don’t know how I’ve managed everyday life without one – it’s one of the best devices I own.
I have the Apple Watch SE 2, and as well as bringing everything I love about my iPhone to my wrist, I love how creative you can get with the endless selection of watch faces and multitude of wristband options. However, Apple’s own bands can be quite pricey. That’s why I swapped out my standard silicone Apple Watch band for a $25 dupe from the brand WITHit.
For the past month, I’ve used WITHit’s Keeperless sports band, and while I was pleasantly surprised, my experience wasn’t without its setbacks. These drawbacks highlighted the reasons behind Apple’s premium pricing for their official bands.
Cost-Effective Alternative
The most significant advantage of WITHit’s silicone bands is their affordability. While they offer a range of higher-priced options, their silicone and nylon bands start at around $15, significantly less than Apple’s offerings. I opted for the gray Keeperless sport band, a reasonable $25 option.
In terms of design, the Keeperless band features a simple sporty aesthetic that mirrors Apple’s own range. Despite its lower price, I was relieved to find it didn’t compromise on comfort, especially since I wear my Apple Watch during various workouts.

Performance During Workouts
I put the Keeperless band through various activities like weightlifting, running, and HIIT workouts. To my satisfaction, the band remained secure without loosening during intense motion. This reliability encouraged me to push myself harder during workouts, ultimately enhancing my gym experience.
Overall, the WITHit sports band fulfills most functional requirements without major disappointment. However, a few minor setbacks underscored what sets Apple’s bands apart in quality.
Comfort and Usability Issues
While quite comfortable during daily activities, I found the band sometimes felt uncomfortably tight, particularly when stationary. Additionally, putting the band on was often cumbersome. Unlike Apple’s bands that slide easily, the WITHit band required more effort to fasten and adjust.
Another downside was the tendency for the band to leave crease marks on my wrist, which could become itchy when I wasn’t wearing the watch. This is less than ideal and often a less appealing aspect of the band’s design.

Final Thoughts
Despite the minor setbacks, I haven’t felt the urge to revert back to my original Apple Watch band. The WITHit band offers a satisfactory experience, but these small drawbacks are enough to notice the difference in quality. Before this experiment, I questioned why Apple prices their accessories so high, but now I appreciate the premium feel and design that justify the costs.
For those looking for a budget-friendly alternative, the WITHit Keeperless band could be a viable option, especially if you don’t mind compromising on some aspects of comfort and usability.
