Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro Earbuds: A No-Compromise Solution for Audio Enthusiasts
The Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds have officially launched at a price point of $179.99, initially available exclusively in the United States. Produced by Anker’s audio and visual brand, these innovative earbuds promise to bridge the gap between comfort and high-quality sound.
Transforming Open-Ear to In-Ear with Adjustable Ear Hooks
Choosing earbuds often involves trade-offs, especially when it comes to sound isolation and comfort. Open-ear designs can offer great ambient awareness, but they typically fall short on effective noise cancellation. On the other hand, in-ear models can feel uncomfortable for extended periods. Soundcore aims to solve this issue with its new AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds.
These earbuds incorporate a five-level adjustable-angle ear hook that allows users to modify the position of the earbud nozzle, enabling it to sit closer to the ear entrance. This design not only enhances comfort but also increases passive noise isolation, allowing the Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) feature to work more effectively.
Key Features of Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro
The AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds come equipped with advanced technology aimed at providing an optimal listening experience. Twin sensors in each earbud automatically recalibrate the equalizer (EQ) depending on the positioning of the earbuds, ensuring a consistent sonic experience.
These earbuds are ideal for outdoor activities, thanks to their IP55 rating which denotes resistance to water and sweat. Anker describes their design as “semi-in-ear,” meaning they provide some in-ear snugness without fully inserting into the ear canal. The earbuds utilize version 3.0 of Soundcore’s Adaptive ANC technology, which samples sound up to 380,000 times per second and makes 180 dynamic adjustments per minute to adapt to changing sounds in your environment.
The earbuds also house six microphones that capture sound from multiple directions, supplemented by four voice mics to ensure clarity during calls. With 11.8mm custom drivers, the AeroFit 2 Pro delivers decent low-end thump and supports spatial audio with head tracking, enhancing the listening experience further. Additionally, they feature high-resolution audio compatibility via LDAC.
Color Options and Availability
The Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds will initially launch in four color options: matte black, gloss white, matte purple, and gloss blue. However, only the black variety will be available for the US launch on January 6. The other colors are set to roll out later in January, with the blue version following shortly thereafter.
All four models will be priced at $179.99 in the United States (around £134 / AU$269), with international pricing still to be announced.
