Alienware is running full speed ahead into 2026 as it teases two new laptop classes at CES 2026, which the company hopes to launch later this year, as well as bringing OLED to its 16-inch Area-51 models.

Consolidation and Expansion of Alienware’s Offerings

Alienware took 2025 to consolidate many of its various laptop offerings into a single relaunched ‘Area-51’ brand, featuring one 18-inch and two 16-inch models. This year, however, the company appears primed to expand that portfolio with a new ultraslim model and a budget-oriented device.

Ultraslim Gaming Laptop: A Professional Edge

For the ultraslim, Alienware says that this new laptop will be about 17mm thick, which is essentially the same thickness as the Razer Blade 14 I reviewed last year. The company aims to create a device that not only adheres to the standards of gaming but also excels in creative and productivity tasks.

This new laptop class will feature 14-inch and 16-inch models. It represents Alienware’s effort to soften its gamer aesthetic to appeal to professionals seeking a powerful device for work during the day and gaming during off-hours. The goal is to ensure that users do not feel awkward bringing a heavily RGB-lit gaming laptop into serious business meetings.

Budget-Friendly Laptop: Filling Market Gaps

Next up, Alienware plans to introduce a budget-oriented gaming laptop, aimed at a much lower price point than the typically premium devices with the Alienware brand. With the discontinuation of the Dell G-series gaming laptops, Alienware is strategically positioned to capture this essential segment of the market.

While specific details about the specs and models are scarce at this time, Alienware emphasizes that this new series will not skimp on quality. The company acknowledges that while it may not reach the standards of its flagship Area-51 models, it will still maintain high standards for build quality, thermal management, and overall performance.
