Review of Panasonic WN10 Wireless Wearable TV Neck Speaker

The Panasonic WN10 excels in delivering an impressive audio experience tailored for TV watching. The Clear Voice Function is particularly noteworthy, as it effectively isolates spoken content, making dialogues clearer even amidst background music or other distractions. This is a blessing for anyone who struggles with tablet TV sound.

Setting up the WN10 is a breeze. Simply connect the wireless transmitter to your TV’s headphone jack, and you’re ready to go! The LED indicator is a thoughtful touch, providing clarity on the connection status.

In terms of performance, the sound quality is commendable. The Dynamic Range Control feature ensures that loud noises don’t overpower the dialogue, while soft sounds are still easily perceivable. The Bluetooth pairing option allows users to switch between the TV and smartphones seamlessly, which is a significant advantage for multitaskers.

However, while the sound and feature set are impressive, a downside is the device’s battery life. Depending on usage, you may find yourself reaching for the charger more often than you’d like, especially during binge-watching sessions. Additionally, some users might find the neck speaker slightly bulky during prolonged use.

    Ethereal.
Cerwin Vega AT-15 Bass Woofer Excursion? NoStudio Monitor Headphones? NoDesktop Creative Labs / Altec Lansing, et. all quality? NoLaptop Speaker Quality? NoThen what is it like? Ethereal. A sound quality that is very unique, enjoyable and portable. If you like bass feeling thumps/effects in movies, then use traditional speakers when watching that, but for most everything else, these are great. It’s a unique experience and sound effect, where no matter where you are sitting, you hear everything clearly and distinctly especially the mid-range/vocals.I haven’t tested this on my PC yet, and my SONY Bravia KDL-55ex500 only has analog sound out, so you have to buy an adapter for analog out (RCA) to a 3.5mm headphone jack. How did I get this to work? Bluetooth. I paired it with my SONY A90K OLED TV and it paired quickly and works great! The awesome thing is, you can pair with blue tooth and hard wire with the 3.5mm headphone jack to a TV or PC and switch between the to. My next test is using it with Teams for meetings on my PC.There’s a red LED indicating it’s charging but doesn’t turn off after charging, as with my watt meter, once I noticed it wasn’t pull any more energy, I unplugged it, but the LED light remain lit even though it stopped charging. Weird part is, the LED light is on the opposite side of the charging port. The charging port has a usb-c port and a reset button. When you turn it on/off, a female voice states it’s charge level (there’s no LED charge level indicator.)The only downside? It’s disposable-wear. Given enough recharge cycles, it will eventually not last with no ability to replace the battery, which is sad, such a great device crippled for long-term use. I still have SONY Walkmans and Panasonic cassette AM/FM players from the 80’s that still work. With that said, PLEASE PANASONIC, continue to make innovative consumer electronics like this, but PLEASE don’t cripple them, allow us to use replaceable batteries, less waste and better for everyone and the planet and our limited material resources. With all that said, it’s a great product with a new unique sound (in a pleasing way as long as you realize it’s limitations mentioned above,) and highly recommend it, but begrudgingly, as it’s disposable-wear.

pretty cool neck speaker for at home activities
These neck phones are pretty good for what I want them to do. I don’t think I’ll be using them to watch tv ever but it is good to know I have the capability to do so. I do like that I can toggle between listening to music and taking a call by just pressing a button like I would on my phone. The bluetooth connection is indeed seamless. I just press the button and it shows up in the list of BT devices to connect to. I don’t like how they use the model name as its very ambiguous, so hopefully I am able to change it in the future. I mainly listen to music on this at a very low volume and it is perfectly find for my needs. It doesn’t sound bad and I like how the music kind of moves from left to right even though the music is on my collarbone. I did try to charge this with my off brand phone wire but it seems to be very needy and will only charge if the wire it came with is used. Overall, this is a good bluetooth wireless neck speaker.

    Interesting product, personal speakers
I received this item as a part of my membership with Amazon Vine. I was quite intrigued by this product when i saw it available and had to order it. This is basically a pair of wearable speakers. There is no privacy, sound is not directed only at your ears in some feat of sound engineering or anything like that. It is quite literally a wearable speaker! I think the appeal is that it doesnt cover or block your ears and you can still hear and interact with the real world, but it also provides you with a sound source close to your ears. The device itself is lightweight and comfortable and the sound that comes out of the speakers is much better than i thought it would be, given the small size. It is easy to pair with my devices (ive used with my phone, laptop and TV) and feels pretty solidly built. I found that for me, they worked well when i use them while i am working on something, be it cooking, cleaning, tinkering, whatever, because i can still hear my wife calling or a knock at the door. Battery lasts quite a while, ive used it a few times now and still havent had to recharge yet. All in all a solid device but its not cheap so i can only really recommend it if you have a use case for a product like this.
