Unveiling New Deals: Price Drops on Must-Have Smartphones
This week, we’ll take a closer look at some exciting offers that have recently emerged, featuring a combination of older models and more current options. These devices have seen further price reductions, making them even more enticing for budget-conscious consumers.
Redmi Note 15 Pro: An Incredible Offer
Just a couple of weeks ago, the Redmi Note 15 Pro was priced at €350 for a 12/512GB unit. However, thanks to a new €30 voucher, the price has now been slashed to just €320. For those considering the 8/256GB version, while it is only €20 cheaper, we highly recommend the better option with more RAM and double the storage.
The Redmi Note 15 Pro showcases a stunning 6.83” 12-bit 120Hz OLED display powered by the Dimensity 7300 Ultra chipset. One of its standout features is the remarkable 200MP main camera (1/1.4” sensor, OIS), although its ultra-wide (8MP) and selfie (20MP) cameras are fairly standard. The device also packs a massive 6,580mAh battery with 45W wired and 22.5W reverse charging capabilities, and it holds an impressive IP68/IP69K rating—having been drop tested from 2.5 meters.
Exploring the Redmi Note 15 Pro+
The Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is now available in the 8/256GB configuration, which also benefits from the €30 voucher. However, the 16/512GB variant has increased by €30 compared to a few weeks ago. Notably, this Pro+ model comes equipped with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, a superior 32MP selfie camera, and a substantial 6,500mAh battery that supports 100W wired charging, with reverse charging still at 22.5W. Aside from these upgrades, it retains many features of the Pro model.
Discovering the Redmi Note 15 5G
The standard Redmi Note 15 5G has now become available in a more budget-friendly 6/128GB configuration for just €200, while the 8/256GB version stays steady at €250. While it features a smaller 6.77” 1080p+ display compared to its Pro counterparts and a smaller 5,520mAh battery with 45W wired and 18W reverse charging, it holds its ground with a Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset and comes with expandable storage. The camera system is centered around a 108MP camera (1/1.67”, OIS), providing a dependable performance.
Motorola Deals on the Horizon
Shifting gears to Motorola, the Razr 60 Ultra, which was listed at €700 for the 12/256GB variant, has received a price drop down to €650. However, the higher capacity 16/512GB model remains priced at €750.
Additionally, the Motorola Edge 70 experienced a rollercoaster pricing journey. Initially marked down to €525, it shot back up to €700 before settling at €650 with a €50 voucher. This smartphone is known for its slim 6.0mm thickness and weighs just 159g. Its 4,800mAh battery, while not the largest, manages a respectable Active Use Score of 13:36h, coupled with fast charging options—68W wired and 15W wireless. The 6.7” 120Hz OLED display (1220p+) adds a touch of modernity, complemented by a dual 50MP rear camera setup and supported by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
Upcoming Releases and Alternative Options
Although the Motorola Moto G67 is still on pre-order and set to launch soon, many are questioning its value in today’s market.
The previous Moto G56 is now heavily discounted, offering enhanced water resistance (IP68/IP69K vs. IP64) and a more powerful Dimensity 7060 chipset compared to the G67’s 6300. It maintains a solid 5,200mAh battery with 30W charging. While the G56 may lack an OLED display, it features a 6.72” 120Hz IPS LCD that caters to certain user preferences, making it a competitive option.
For those who prefer a more budget-friendly alternative, the Samsung Galaxy A17 5G is also a substantially cheaper choice than the G67 and is poised to receive five more major OS updates (it’s already been upgraded to Android 16). This model, like the G67 and G56, includes expandable storage and is powered by the Exynos 1330 chipset, alongside a 5,000mAh battery featuring 25W charging options.
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion also challenges these options with a slightly smaller OLED display (6.67 vs. 6.78”) but boasts a faster Dimensity 7300 chipset, keeping the same 5,200mAh battery as the G67, now enhanced with 68W charging. Plus, it features a capable 50MP main camera with a larger sensor (1/1.56” vs. 1/1.95”) and support for 4K video recording, although it launched with Android 15 and is limited to three OS updates.
