These were great until they were unusable
Edit 7/14/24: These headphones lasted a long time for me. They just broke in the middle and one of the speakers isn’t working great anymore. They were great while they lasted, if you take care of them they will serve you well.Edit 2/1: I received my replacements and they immediately connected with my phone. These still work great, have great sound and are very comfortable. I have yet to try another device, will update to see how that goes. When I first got these everything was easy. I charged them up first, easily paired them with my phone and off I was enjoying great sounding super comfortable headphones.A couple days ago I purchased a new phone and after setting it up the way I wanted I decided to pair them with the headphones. The headphones name (Riff Wireless) weren’t showing up on the Available bluetooth devices list. Weird, I thought, but no problem maybe they can only have one device stored at a time on them (the headphones). I turned on my old phone (I had turned it off days before) and they immediately connected with the headphones, due to the prior set up. So I made the phone forget the headphones and again tried to connect to the new phone, nothing. I tried to pair with my old phone, the phone the headphones were JUST paired with and now they aren’t showing up on the list.I read through the instructions again and they were of no help. This is very frustrating as I just purchased these (1/7/2022) and I’ve only used them a handful of times, now they won’t pair or even show up on the Available devices list and from what I have been looking at there isn’t a way to troubleshoot this problem.Things I have tried:1. Turning off the bluetooth on both phones and turned off the head phones, then turned everything back on.2. Shut down both phones completely as well as the headphones, that also did not work.3. Plugged the headphones in to charge, let them charge completely, shut down both phones again and once they were booted back up turned on the headphones and still nothing.I will see about exchanging these, but this is still incredibly frustrating.

These are a FANTASTIC pair of headphones! Although, since they’re budget headphones, you can’t expect the highest build quality. The plastic does feel cheap, but as long as you don’t abuse them, you’ll be fine!So let’s talk about the audio quality. The audio quality is great for such a low price point. The bass is perfect, no large lack and no obnoxious amount of bass. I did have to grow used to the treble through, I have sensitive hearing and sometimes too high of a treble will kill my listening experience. But now they’re great! The build quality is alright. But what’s to expect out of a pair of $50 headphones? The plastic is somewhat flimsy but I assume that helps to absorb shock when dropped from head height.Comfort! They are SO comfortable! The earmuffs are very soft, and fit perfectly on the surface of my ears. But keep in mind, these are NOT noise cancelling and do NOT surround the entire ear, so you may deal with a little exterior noise when walking around others. So far the battery life has been great. I charged them up several hours prior to using them, and they’ve lasted quite a few hours!Overall, I believe these headphones are more focus towards entry-level users who have never experienced wireless headphones before. But they’re great!

Great headphones but Grind has a better overall design. Definitely worth the price.
Great headphones. Love Skullcandy. Only complaint is that the top part that rests against your head isn’t padded like the Grind so when you lay down on your side it’s hard and uncomfortable. Absolutely love the ear cushions- very comfortable and no soreness from long wear. Bluetooth is very reliable. Battery life is about one day of constant use- sightly less than Grind. The blue blinking light is annoying especially in the dark as I can see it in the corner of my eye. I’m also not a fan of the button design in this model. It’s difficult to differentiate between the volume keys and power button. The design of the buttons and their location on Grind is way better. Sound quality is great. Good bass and clear speech. It’s neat that you can fold up the headphones for easy storage.Edit (5/28/2020): The main headband is now broken and snapped surprisingly easily with barely any pressure. The right headphone adjustable section had snapped a few months back. The quality of the plastic is pretty poor but the sound quality is still top notch in my opinion. It lasted a long time and technically still works. My only other complaint is that the “color” of the holes in the headphone ear cushions is literally just a colored piece of fabric which easily moves around (not sewn or glued) and folds and crumples, revealing the green foam underneath.

I bought these for home use, and since I lived alone and don’t go to work due to COVID-19, I don’t really require heavy duty noise cancelling headphones. As such, I wasn’t really mad about them not drowning out all noise. That said, on max volume you probably won’t hear someone properly who’s talking to you, but they aren’t noise cancelling if you don’t have audio playing. They are lighter than I expected so I was worried they’d be cheap, but they’re really good. Portable, easily foldable. Super comfortable on my ears – however, I have very small ears so they are perfect for me, but would imagine they might be small for an average person. My favourite thing about them is how easy they pair – I never ever have an issue with pairing, they always connect quickly. Great for video calls and listening to music. All in all, a great pair of headphones for everyday use, especially for the price.
