  1. Rambito

    Excellent professional laptop
This is a fantastic machine to work with. Clean lines, minimalist look. Intel i7, plenty of RAM, decent screen size (I was tired of tiny screens), with 1TB of SSD, backed by a US company, all under $800. Similar setup in 2024 model would fetch $1,500 or more. Only thing I hate is the HP bloatware, but all manufacturers do the same.

  2. Loki

Laptop had multiple core component failures in the first year and a half
Laptop’s motherboard died after only 1 year, 7 months. Took to a repair shop, who confirmed the board was dead. The M.2 SSD Storage died after only 6 months, which was heavily used when I received the laptop. Immediately after powering the laptop on, I checked the disk and it had thousands of hours of use according to the disk’s S.M.A.R.T. diagnostic report. After paying for two out‑of‑warranty repairs and suffering nearly two months of downtime, I’m left with an otherwise capable machine whose core components failed far too soon. Poor value for the cost. Performance was otherwise passable. Very lightweight, doesn’t put out much heat. Wish it had lasted longer, and that the disk wasn’t so heavily used. Disks with such heavy usage really shouldn’t be sold, even for refurb devices.

    Great laptop
Very easy to set up. Works well and is very fast. No problems connecting to internet and printer. Great battery life.

  4. Michael J. Cuela

Battery Life is just OK so far. Should be able to last a bit longer, but it doesn’t.
The computer is great and fast. My only complaint is the battery life. It lasts for atleast 6 hours on average sometimes a little more depending on how much work you are doing on it. Most of the activities I use it for is for business and teaching. I enjoy it. Sometimes the hotspot has a difficult time connecting from time-to-time, but other than that it is good for the amount of money.

  5. CG

    Exactly what I expected
Pc works wonderful, I wanted one to keep up with working from home but not the full cost of a gaming laptop. No complaints!

  6. Robert A. Burrell, II

Screen is awful and poor battery life
The display/screen on this laptop is awful. It looks faded and washed out, There is also always some glare no matter what angle its tilted to.I don’t know if this is a quality of the laptop or if this was refurbished. The listing did not indicate it was refurbished. The poor screen quality was immediately noticeable, and accentuated by comparing to other old cheap laptops around the house.I tried tinkering with Windows settings but there isnt really anything in there that speaks to this. On a desktop monitor you can adjust contrast and brightness etc but it doesnt appear this is an option on a laptop, I cannot find anything on the laptop or on the web.I should’ve returned it but missed the refund window. I contacted the seller to ask for a return anyway or at least if they have any guidance for if there are settings or if this is a broken model. No response. This is disappointing because I this is a pricier laptop than I typically go for. It does have more horsepower but the display is worse than any laptop I’ve had in recent years.

  7. Kenneigh

    Not as advertised…
No backlit keyboard, no fingerprint login, and the battery didnt even last TWO HOURS and it took forever to charge. It was super slow and laggy too. I bought a used one, yes, but I must have received a broken one, but based on these reviews, I’m not the only one with these issues. I’m still in the middle of my return (like it should be shipped be now) and it still only says my return has been confirmed. Just got charged my monthly payment🤷Edit: I think like two days after this review went up I got my refund, which I appreciate.

    Nice and slick
So far so good and it has performed well during the installation of Norton and Microsoft 365.
