Drapes well
It took 3 tries to get one of these without obvious flaws (pulled fabric, a random black thread right in front), but it is lovely. Very soft, lightweight, warm without being hot, drapes beautifully. Noticed that after two washes it’s not looking as smooth as it was, but it’s still good material. I might consider another in a different color if this one holds up after several washes.

This shawl is BEAUTIFUL. The first thing you will notice is the packaging. My boyfriend said he wished every seller would use a high quality packaging like this shawl arrived in. When we unzipped it for inspection, I touched it for the first time. It is soft, incredibly soft. It was the first thing that was noticed by the recipient. It is also the perfect weight for 3 seasons. It drapes beautifully and truly is reversible. Some items have tell tale signs like tags or stitching tha show which side it should be worn on, NOT this shawl. You can easily transition between colors with the knowledge that it is able to be worn on both sides.This was a gift for my boyfriends mom, and she is PICKY. She typically only wears higher end designers (Ann Taylor, Liz Clairborne-2 of her other gifts were Channel no.5 and Dior lip gloss) She was impressed with this shawl and eager to use it. Overall, this is a high quality shawl with the perfect softness and weight. Purchase with confidence.Melanie

Lovely but seriously “cheap” and doesn’t wash well
This is a lovely piece and is wonderfully soft but the edges are raveling. I washed it once (alone, in a bag, on gentle) and it came out with both corners shredded and numerous other places along the edges unraveling. It also wrinkles easily.update months later: This is pretty and versatile but the quality is just JUNK. It wrinkles badly and the “hem” has shredded. It (the hem) is so tiny that it can’t be hand-sewn to fix (won’t match) but would require rehemming the entire thing.Update several months after the last one. The quality of this is really shoddy, including that it is now pilling and looks shabby. However, the design is so good and the material so soft that I actually bought two more. Just like the first, washing caused the hem to shred and the appearance to go downhill. But, as an old lady who doesn’t get out much in public, these are easy and comforting to wear at home. For that reason, I upgraded the stars from one to two.Update more than a year later: After sewing up the raveling edges, I wear these all the time because they are SOOO comfortable and a shawl is so easy to wear. I tend to leave mine hanging over the handles of my walker (I’m an old lady) so I always have something to wear if the AC is too cold when I go out.They wrinkle terribly but if you hang it up, the wrinkles fall out. But, after all this time, I have stopped caring if its wrinkled. The comforting feeling of it grows on one.Now, I have bought the one with the pearls for nicer occasions. It is soooo lovely. I will just have to wear it standing it up so it never gets wrinkled.
