Speedy, lightweight and capable.
Setup took a while, but was easy enough. I just followed the prompts and within an hour everything was set up and updated to the latest Windows 11 install. The screen resolution is great, but Windows installed at 150% magnification, which makes everything to big. I prefer 125%, but others (much younger than myself) will likely go with 100%. The screen is bright and HDR capable for Video Streaming. the touchscreen works well, but I’m never a fan of them — I really dislike fingerprints on my screen though this screen seems to do a really good job of not accumulating fingerprints. The built in speakers are loud enough for any streaming movies.I’ve head no issues with the Wi-Fi. The laptop is Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) capable and has no trouble staying connected to even the weakest signals..The laptop has 2 USB-C ports and 2 USB-A ports — more than enough any peripherals. There is also a built-in microSD slot — a major plus for those that take videos or manipulate photos. The built-in webcam has a feature I’ve never seen before — a built in slide shade that can be closed to shut it down. It has a red graphic to show that it is off. There is quite a bit of Acer bloatware that can be easily uninstalled, but the sizeable 1TB SSD and 16GB or RAM make leaving it alone a real non-issue.

Battery drains when shut down
I bought two of them. Both charge to to 100%, but if I store them for a week or so, the battery is completely dead in each one and will not boot without being plugged in; that is, the keyboard lights will not even turn on when I press the power button. And I had followed instructions on the web to ensure the laptops do not simply go to sleep or hibernate when I shut them down (win key > power > shutdown). After much research into the problem and trying everything that was suggested, I decided to write a review out of frustration. One star was generous due to too much wasted time.

mid but kinda overpriced IMO
Overpriced for the quality. While ity works ok for my needs, its isnt very powerful. The build quality is kinda iffy on the keyboard. Some sticking and clicking issues. I havent had any hardware issues but again, its not super powerful. I wouldnt get another.

A solid ultra-light daily driver
If you just need a decent, lightweight machine for general office work or home use, I think this is a great option. The processor and memory are set up to deliver pretty much anything a regular user might want, up to and including light creative work or gaming. It’s plenty fast for most people. I like this size for a general purpose laptop better than a 12″ footprint, mostly because you get more keyboard real estate. And speaking of the keyboard, other reviews have complained, but I don’t really know what their issue is—feels like a Macbook keyboard to me. So, not the best, but fine. I like the touchscreen for taking notes or annotating during presentations. The screen is plenty bright and responsive, and battery life meets expectations.I don’t know what else to say—this isn’t a high performance workstation, but it really checks all the boxes for the average user, and it looks good while doing it.

Acer Swift Go 14 Laptop
The Acer Swift Go 14 Laptop is lightweight and looks exactly as shown! It was easy to set up and runs fast. It comes with a charger and doesn’t take long for it to charge. The battery lasts for a few day of use before I need to plug it back in. The sound is clear and not staticky. The screen is bright and the colors are very vibrant. It has a good bit of storage space. The keyboard is comfortable and not very noisy. This is a great laptop!

I’m Surprised it’s so great
I’ve been using this laptop for a few weeks, and it’s impressive for the price. It’s super light, starts up instantly, and the screen looks beautiful, bright and crisp. The touch display is responsive, and it handles multitasking easily with the Ryzen 7 chip. I use it for work, streaming, and some light photo editing, and it runs smoothly with no lag. Battery life is solid, I can go most of the day without charging. The keyboard feels comfortable, too. The only small downside is the fan can get a bit audible under heavy load, but it cools quickly. Overall, a fast, sleek, and reliable laptop that feels premium without the high price tag.

Freeze up after 3 hours
I bought 2 of these laptops. The first froze up after six hours after writing a novel. I returned and bought the exact same one. After three hours same thing happened. Mouse, touch pad, touch screen-nothing works. I could not turn it off and esc doesn’t work either. I am trying to see if battery goes dead so I can at least take out my personal information. I can’t factory restore until the page unlocks. Two times the exact same thing happened.
