Excellent Device for Less Phone Fixation
Fantastic for someone looking to keep access to essential apps (banking, work apps, etc) but avoiding clutter and phone overuse. I use verizon which it said would not work but figured I would try it out and it works perfectly fine. Very sturdy as I work in a busy environment and have dropped it a few times. Excellent battery life and very simple to learn the functions of, been having a lot of fun learning how to type quickly with T9, but there are options for touchscreen keyboards. For the price, it can’t be beat and I would recommend this to anyone looking to get away from typical smartphones but needing the functionality of one.

Doesn’t Make Phone Calls or Texts All That Well
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I picked up this phone because it promised to be durable and make phone calls. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do that very well. As you try to dial it lags considerably causing you to double type numbers or miss digits. I bought this to be a dumb phone, and all I needed for it to do was to make calls and maybe text. It was constantly getting bogged down by the simplest tasks. In addition, it required me to regularly reboot it because it claimed that it could not read my SIM card. This phone fails at the most basic level which is too bad. I really liked the idea of it being a flip phone that would give me a break from social media and other notifications.

Built To Take It
I’ve own a few alleged “rugged” flip phones and this one outshines them all. From the moment you unbox it, you’ll be struck by its heft. I’ve read review about people “downgrading” from smart phones so as to use their phones less with this product. I am just the opposite and just about anything you can do on a smart phone you can do on this phone, as well. The internet is a breeze on this phone, but of course the screen is smaller. I’ve also had it slide completely off a forklift and it didn’t suffer even a scratch when it hit the cement. It comes with a lot of bells and whistles and is water-proof. I also keep it in low power mode (which doesn’t affect performance) and it will last a day or more (depending on usage). It is also equipped with wifi and thus when using THAT, you aren’t using your own data or minutes . A great little workhorse that has excellent sound and extensively VERY fast internet speed. I love this phone.

Not Unlocked
While it is locked to T-Mobile it works great with tello. That is fine for us but someone expecting it to be unlocked will be disappointed and frustrated because if their cell service uses any other towers than t mobile the phone will not work and they will have to take time out of their day to return this. Soo I have to take a star off for saying it’s unlocked when it’s only half true. This phone only operates on T-Mobile towers and that should be clearly stated. As for the phone is very cool. The touch screen is great. I had to change the keyboard settings so it does not use the swipe feature otherwise it over responds to every touch. But once I disabled the swipe feature it worked perfect. Easy to navigate screen. Very solid rugged feel too this flip phone. I purchased it for my 15 year old son. He’s pleased. Great phone.

Dumb phone you want that is a smart phone when it needs to be.
Just as my title suggests, it’s perfect for both situations.I’m currently in the process of unplugging from online life little by little. This phone is a perfect in-between option.I downloaded a t9 keyboard for free that works great.Battery lasts about 2.5 days. Sturdy and heavy which is good for my line of work, fits a 128 Gb SD card so you can store music or whatever.Corded headphones would have to be USB-C as there is no 3.5 mm output but it does have Bluetooth as well.I tested the Bluetooth and it works well. Walked across my house using it after leaving the phone in the kitchen. Great phone. Hope they put out a new updated version that’s a little slimmer cuz she’s kinda thick.

Know WHAT this is before ordering
On the surface, this phone looks like it would check all of the boxes for a digital detox lifestyle. For the most part – it does. Solidly built, water resistant, and it would appear to be straightforward – but is it?After using for 2 days, I found the phone to be more of a distraction and a detriment then a positive experience. It gives you just enough Android to make you feel that you’re getting a complete package, but good luck if you try plugging it into your car – there’s no Android auto and that is a huge deal-breaker for me.Additionally, even with the volume turned all the way up, the ringtones are very quiet and easily overlooked. The phone isn’t just slow – it’s painfully slow. Good luck trying to load anything with it as it takes forever to process. Then there’s the issue with storage.Nowhere does it say “hey, you should probably consider getting an SD card before transferring your stuff.” You really can’t do that because you have to set the phone up first before you can activate storage on the SD card. This means you either screw up your transfer process, or have to omit many items. All in all, if you are looking for a very simple phone – this might be a place to start, but day in and day out use is very frustrating. You can’t do everything from the keyboard, so you have to use the touch screen or voice to text.If you know your limitations, I think it could be a good phone for digital detox lifestyle, but don’t count on using a day in and day out without running into several frustrations. It’s a shame, because I had really high hopes for it.

Great phone second only to the alt mive style folder 2. Does almost everything I need the only thing it’s missing is NFC and long battery life but all you have to do is carry your cards and bring a portable charger. Recommend looking up guides for customisation to make this thing your treasure.

Didn’t work with any sims. I tried Optus and Telstra, both failed to be detected. Don’t buy if in Australia.
